The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed with regard to the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is read more often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The company stage established for intervention encounters a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and increase use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
